The FCA, within the recent regulatory round-up, have requested that firms remove the FCA’s telephone number showing on their websites, emails and sales literature. There is no regulatory requirement for you to give the FCA’s phone number and this request has arisen from the FCA receiving calls from clients who were actually trying to contact the firms themselves.

We would therefore suggest you review your documentation and websites to remove any reference to the FCA’s telephone number as soon as possible.

Please note, this should still remain within the Client Agreements as this would not be considered as sales literature.
